Muir Woods!

Almost every night we read Dylan "Good Night San Francisco" and there is a part of the book that talks about "the nearby redwoods" so we thought it would be important for Dylan to SEE the nearby Redwoods. BUT first we took a drive to Stinson Beach. . . wow, we quickly realized why we don't do that more often. That drive is so crazy, constant turns and you feel sick after going about 1 mile. We made it there just in time to grab lunch. We found a great little spot by the beach and ordered from the outside cafe. Just as soon was we ordered our sweet Dylan decided it was his time to eat as well, and he let everyone on the patio know!!! We quickly told the server that we'd take it to go and I headed to the car to feed Dylan. After he got his meal I was determined to see the Ocean, so we walked to the beach said, "hello ocean" and thean headed back home stopping off at Muir woods first. We had a great time here and Dylan really enjoyed being out of the car, and so did we!!! Here are a few fun photos of our day adventure!

Dylan meets Addison!

My very best friend from high school, Lucky Meg came to visit with her husband Craig and her daughter Addison. We had a quick visit at my parents house but it was so much fun to get our little ones together. Dylan got to meet Addison who is just 6 months older than him, who says he can't go for an older chick?

Easter 2009

We celebrated Easter by going to mass at St. Agnes with Ryan's parents. It was a great liturgy and a wonderful way to begin our Easter morning. We then went to Danville to join my parents, the Brinkers, the Fishers and Aunt Bethy for a BBQ. We had a great time and Dylan enjoyed his first Easter basket as well. I had a good time dressing him for the occasion. . . see the socks!

Dylan meets Tammie and Lily

Dylan and I had a playdate with Tammie (my good friend from high school and LMU)and her daughter Lily before Easter. It was so much fun to see Tammie as a Mom and to play with Lily. Tammie lives in Lincoln so we don't always get to see her but we had a great visit at her Mom's house in Diablo. Thanks Tammie and Lily for coming down to visit us!

Dylan's room!

Dylan is still in the co-sleeper next to our bed in our room but his room certainly is taking shape! Many of Ryan's friends gave him baseball themed gifts for his birth so it took on a sports theme very quickly.

Getting Dylan ready!

Ryan forgot to mention the "game prep" that occured before we took Dylan to the baseball game! This is Dylan in his "warm up" outfit and Ryan talking "ball" with him on the couch! He actually looks really interested!

Giants Game

A rite of passage in every (little) man's life...going to his first GIANTS game! We took Dylan to his first baseball game to see his favorite team, GIGANTES! He had a great time and met up with his cousins, Jackson, Hudson and Sawyer. He was all smiles when the Giants scored runs and gave some grunts (boos) when opposing batters came to the plate. We even got Dylan an Official Giants certificate saying it was his very first Giants game! We look forward to many many more games with Dylan.
